There's now a new, very high performance, continuous-coated rolled aluminium section for creating the most modern architectural curtain walls: its name is DMAX.
DMAX has all these advantages:
- perfect flatness, in Aluminium-Magnesium alloy, assemblage 5000;
- extra-thick solid metal (2 to 3 mm thick) for unrivalled mechanical resistance;
- PVDF coating applied in 2, 3 or 4 coats;
- available in innovative finishes: pastel, metallic and iridescent;
- personalized packaging, so that the rolled section is immediately identifiable and provided with the utmost protection during transit and handling;
- thorough, strict, certified quality controls throughout the production cycle;
- very thick black/white protective film, personalized with DMAX logo;
- delivery time: extra fast. Thanks to fast-track production planning and to the just-in-time production and delivery service.

The new solution to the most demanding requirements:
DMAX represents another breakthrough in the range of rolled sections for panels catering to architectural needs. It is the product of successful synergies generated by the meeting of different factors:
- the Otefal Group's forty years of experience in aluminium surface treatments;
- its pioneering commitment, over the last twenty years, to the design and running of continuous coating lines;
- the know-how gained, through the Building Division, regarding architectural systems for curtain walling;
- an R&D department geared towards research into new hi-tech products.
DMAX was conceived precisely as a tangible response to the frequent demand for 2/3 mm "Panel Quality" aluminium, producing a solid metal alternative to the usual aluminium/plastic composites. This is why Otefal has come up with a new line of products, offering even higher performance than their predecessors, that can apply the PVDF super-coatings even on very thick metal.
The DMAX aluminium rolled section therefore makes a more affordable alternative to the usual rolled composites by virtue of its many qualities - flatness (continuous stretching), workability (no milling or riveting for cassette panels), a wide range of finishes (metallic, iridescent or pastel) and, last but not least, its competitive cost.
